1. Contract for Supply of Products and Services
By completing a purchase or paying a deposit through our website, by phone, or via direct contact, you are entering into a binding contract with Mass Vehicle Security Ltd. This contract begins from the moment you receive an order confirmation email or upon deposit payment, whichever comes first.
Mass Vehicle Security Ltd reserves the right to decline or cancel any pending order prior to confirmation or acceptance without notice.
2. Installation
Once your order is placed, our booking team will contact you within 24 working hours to arrange installation. We aim to complete installations within 5 working days, depending on availability.
Installations are available Monday to Friday, with AM or PM slots. Where possible, our engineer will call 30 minutes before arrival.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is located in a safe and accessible area suitable for installation. Acceptable locations include driveways, residential streets, and private car parks. We cannot carry out installations in multi-storey or pay-to-enter car parks.
Installations will not be carried out on vehicles deemed unroadworthy or undergoing repairs.
3. Delivery
Where possible, the installation engineer will bring the required device on the day. However, to meet demand, the product may be shipped to your installation address beforehand. You will be informed in advance if this is necessary.
4. Cancellations and Amendments
Once your order is placed, a contract is formed. If you wish to cancel, the following charges apply:
- £25.00: Cancellations made before installation is booked (admin fee).
- £60.00: Cancellations made more than 24 working hours before installation.
- £85.00: Cancellations made within 24 working hours of the scheduled installation.
- £15.00: Amendments to an existing booking (date/time/location).
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable cancellation or admin fees.
5. Missed Appointments
If our engineer attends the scheduled appointment but is unable to carry out the installation due to your absence or the vehicle not being at the agreed location, a £100.00 call-out charge will apply.
6. Service Calls
If a service call is booked for suspected faulty equipment, and the issue is found to be user error or caused by third-party interference (e.g. windscreen replacement, electrical work, or damage by others), a minimum call-out fee of £75.00 + VAT will be charged.
If requested, a diagnostic report with images can be provided at an additional cost of £45.00 + VAT.
All service-related charges must be paid upon receipt and may be recoverable from a third party responsible for the issue.
7. After Installation
We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are dissatisfied with your installation or experience any issues, please notify Mass Vehicle Security Ltd in writing by emailing info@massvehiclesecurity.co.uk within 24 hours of installation so we can resolve the matter promptly.
8. VAT Invoices
All charges and services provided are subject to VAT. A full VAT invoice will be supplied for all payments made.
